I had to purchase the XL Reflective Vest because my black lab has quite a deep chest and the measurements on the L size were not quite enough. It does mean though that I will be able to put it over his wax coat if I have to use it this year. However, the vest is terrific and Torran doesn't object to wearing it. The only problem is that I have to wash it after every use but that is a small price to pay for the fact that traffic can see him when we are out walking in the winter evenings and I can see him when he goes for his usual exploration among the bushes. Fits pretty well. Had to change up for bigger size as underestimated how big my puppy GSD is! Fits reasonably well, say only reasonably as it does tend to slide round to one side or the other. She really doesn't mind wearing it - just put it in when she's calm and not being giddy and up for a game. Doesn't try to pull it off. She can be seen when out walking in unlit streets. Plus, think she actually likes wearing it!
