i have a very naughty girl named riya she is a gsd and without the gencon all in one i wouldn't be able to take her a walk. i have tried all the other headcollars on the market but have found this one to be the best i would recommend it to anyone

My young man is walking pretty well on the lead on his own. He soon realises that if he starts to pull, I just stop and won't move until he stops pulling. BUT... he comes with me to walk someone elses dog. The stopping business isn't very practical then! So I pop the Gencon on when we are walking his friend and it is brilliant. He still looks happy with a busily wagging tail but doesn't attempt to pull. We usually start our walk on the road with the Gencon on, they then have a loose run across the fields and I don't usually need to put it on on the return road walk.

I have tried numerous anti pulling leads and harnesses for different dogs I have owned, and the Halti works well, but it did tend to go up in the eyes. So, I looked on a german shepherd forum & was recommended the Gencon. It arrived & we tried it on our German Shepherd, she walks lovely with it on! Its prob not as easy to put on as the halti but its still only a few seconds and then its on. The only negaitive thing I'd say is that when she starts barking at other dogs she seems to have a different type of bark, like its hurting her to bark and then she coughs after barking- but then this may stop her from barking anyway!! She will prob learn not to pull at other dogs as the lead presses into her neck/throat. But she walks lovely in it & it doers not go up into her eyes at all. I would reccommend it!
