Well Made
I am slightly confused by the listings. I have purchased the Medium but the link takes me to this Large one. However on measuring the one I have it is 6.5 cms, so probably the medium and large are the same but please check so you know what you are buying.
I purchased this to use on a Labrador with a dense undercoat, The device is well made and confortable to hold with a rubber grip. It works well but the limited width and depth of the comb means that it soon clogs with hair and has to be emptied frequently. The manufacturers recomend that it is not used more than once a week and should only be used on long hair (not face, underneath etc) so it does not replace a normal brush and comb.
It would be better if it had longer prongs.
Good grooming for dogs
Over the past 15 years I have bought various types of grooming combs to keep my two Springers looking clean, tidy and with a knot free coat. While some have been rubbish and others only OK, they've all failed to cope with knotted or matted hair without discomfort. Now I'm using the Mikki Grooming Moult Master and, so far, it seems to be working really well at at removing the dense undercoat that seems to cause matting with no tugging or snagging. My dogs seem happier and so am I!
