The only thing I would say is that the latch works in the opposite way to how you would expect. Ie: when you press the button up is allows the lead to stretch out. When you bring the button backwards it locks the lead at that length. So if your dog takes off after a squirrel your instinct is the press the button to stop them....that just lets them go!!
