This ramp is good value for money but you need to go careful when using it as there is no rubber on the bottom and if used on a smooth service the ramp will fall whilst the dog is climbing up it (as my dog found out!)

This ramp is rather cumbersome. It is plenty wide enough for my collie to bound up but an old dog may find it rather steep and intimidating to climb.

I bought this for one of my dogs who was having health issues and it unfortunately arrived after she had had to be put to sleep. However, one of the other dogs had to have an operation and what a boon it was to have the ramp. It is well constructed, easy for the dogs to walk up without slipping and really made a difference to being able to bring my dog home without too much strain for her as she had stitches in her side and under her body. As we have a 4x4 it would have meant us having to lift her into it and possibly stretching the stitches but with the ramp she walked up quite calmly and was able to walk down it easy as well as it definitely is non slip.
Would recommend this product to anyone as it really was worth the money - it is just a shame it didn't arrive sooner so my other dog could have had use of it.
