Great product but need 3 hands to fit!
The dog guard is very good and does the job as intended. Needs an extra pair of hands to hold and fix - not easy if you have a smaller hatchback or estate. Very pleased with it.

I recently bought an identical dog guard from Halfords for more money (needed it that day). My parents have one in their car too. I was a little worried that my rather large hyper dog might try to get through it, and it might not be sturdy enough, but she has accepted it and it does the job well.

First time fitting it can take a while, but once you've done the initial set up removing and reattaching it takes a couple of minutes at the most.

It fits easily, and as I have a car on contract purchase I wanted a dog guard that wouldn't mark or possibly damage the car in any way.

Major design fault
This is identical to a Halfords one I bought - and had to return. As another reviewer notes, the instructions warn you not to over-tighten the clamps. In fact they are really badly designed so it is impossible to get a reasonably tight fit. I presume the warning not to over-tighten was added as an afterthought. It's bizarre really. The product only consists of a grill and some clamps - you'd think they would design clamps that did the job!
