This harness has changed our dog walking lives. My wonderful labradoodle puppy pulled like crazy. This was ok when she was little but once she got to 9 months old I really couldn't enjoy taking her out and my 6 yr old daughter had no chance as we were dragged along relentlessly - it was a nightmare. We tried training and various leads and then someone told me about this kind of front control lead. We bought one, put it on and just couldn't believe the difference - no pulling - a few gentle tugs now and then when other dogs are around. I was so impressed, I put the old lead back on to check whether she had just decided to stop pulling herself or whether it really was the lead - it was the lead that stops her. My mum who is 72 can now take the dog out too which she loves - i was so worried she might be pulled over. Great buy.

We bought this harness after researching the reviews and had measured our Boston Terrier right.
we bought the small which only just fit adjusted it as the online video states and set off. It was brill for about 15 minutes then we met a dog and she managed to get out of the front with her leg somehow and once she learned the weakness that was that.
I am now unable to use this harness as she can basically get out of it, I tried to contact the manufacturers and they did not evan bother to reply, so I am going to have to write it off as a loss!
I think the idea is good as the small time it stayed on it did appear to work but I think it needs fine tuning where small dogs are concerned.

I don't often leave reviews but this product was exactly what I was looking for. I had tried other harnesses and head collars for my Terrier. Most appeared very uncomfortable for him and I ended up dragging him whilst he was trying to get out of the head collar or harness instead of him pulling me! This harness worked straight away. As the lead is attached to the front when he pulls it turns him towards you and he comes back to heal with minimal effort from me.
For those that have said their dogs have backed out of it can't have fit it properly I can't see any reason why this should happen if it is fitted properly.
I do have to say that initially I had given this 5 starts, but I've had to reduce my rating as I had to stop using the product after it rubbed raw behind his front legs. He doesn't have much hair here anyway and for a usually hairy dog this would probably not happen, but it was not suitable for my Manchester Terrier.
