These little rubber socks looked a brilliant idea. However if the dog doesn't want these balloon type booties on its feet it is a two person job to get them on!!! My chihuahua has worn them once only. They did stay on very well but she tiptoed around the kitchen first then managed to run around the field in a bouncy fashion, which certainly protected her delicate paws, but now whenever i reach for the booties she runs off. I can only assume she doesn't like them. sorry I did think ther were a good idea but too much hassle. They do look a bit like balloons.

Work great...even better if you "double bag" their feet. They do wear out but you have to balance that with how well the dogs tolerate the shoes, and these are the only ones I've found that my dogs will tolerate. Make sure you get the recommended size. Be very careful of the sizing! Simply couldn't get them on.
I was unfortunately very disappointed with these dog boots. They looked like they would have been excellent, but while my dog's feet were well within the measurements stated (she is a toy breed), I just couldn't get them on and would have hurt her if I'd forced them. They're quite like very thick balloons (actually they look very much like those water bombs you can buy for children) and need serious effort to be put into stretching them to make them go on (not great if you've got them because of a sore paw). Also I was anticipating that they would have some type of fabric cuff at the top as it looks like there is one in the photos, but there isn't, at least on the XX-Small size. Even if I had got them on, I would have been concerned that the tight rubber ring at the top of the boot might have cut off her circulation somewhat. Shame as I think they would have been good otherwise. I am contemplating whether or not it would be worth trying a larger size.
