As I have a Westie who gets very wet and muddy when out walking during and after rain, i decided to buy one of these long legged trouser suits. I have always bought Cosipet coats as I like the way the dog can step into them and can be zipped along the back. This prevents the coat slipping around the body which has been a problem with the ones that fasten with a velcro flap. I bought the usual size 16inch which has always been a little long in the body for my Westie but is required to fit around his tummy (he's a big boy!!) I found this suit a little tight across the chest but when it is wet it certainly helps keep his legs and belly cleaner and drier.
