I have a very alert young (6 months) intelligent male cat who has been taught how to play fetch and a few other tricks

He cannot get enough of this product, he loves it. I think any young cat that you are training up to do tricks would, it's brilliant, well made bright and just perfect.
It is also cheap. With regards to any of the bad reviews for the product I can honestly say that things such as people saying "I hoped it would encourage my cats to play more" is ridiculous, if you want your cats to play more then play with them and stimulate them, no inanimate object will encourage any animal to play, nor will an inanimate owner.
This product is great value for money, well made, arrived in great condition and is a good buy.
Worth it
When I first put this down for my cat she took one look at and walked away not impressed. I had to put her favourite treats in it for her to become interested. Once she knew that there was food in there she spent ages trying to get it out. Even if the only way my cat will play with this is because I put treats in it I still think it was worth the buy. It has provided my cat with a way to work for her treats and I enjoy watching her squash her face in it trying to get them out.
Soft and well made. Multiple uses.
I like this product a lot as it is a good size and well made but it is very soft so doesn't stand firm. At the moment my cat (aged10, so less adventurous than younger cats) is not keen to put his paw inside and I imagine if he did that it would get stuck on his paw being quite floppy - but I may be wrong. We have found other uses though and he will knock a ball off the top of it quite happily (for a treat) and also likes to watch his feathers on a stick pop out and back inside. The four fluffy balls that come with it are so soft and we have fun throwing them up to the ceiling and watching them fall down and randomly bounce. It doesn't matter if they land on the cat as they don't hurt. I'm glad I bought it and will persevere as he may yet get his paws inside in time.
