I bought the octopus toy for my dog when she was a puppy, the octopus was then bigger than she was but she has loved and played with it ever since. It is very strong and attractive to dogs with its roundish head and its 5 squeaky legs. I have had to mend it - at the teething stage she managed to make a hole in it - I put it away for a while then - the joy when it reappeared was delightful. I am now having to repair the seams, I think because the thread is losing strength - but this is after two and a half years of very active shaking and chewing so I have no complaint with that (this is a dog that, as a puppy, ate her way through the wooden supports on several chairs & tables so it is definitely a tough toy).
