Bought this to take out my dog, he is a Pharaoh Hound, and I am disappointed by the device. The system to attach the rod to the bike is really lacking. After screwing it 3 times already to the point I thought I was going to break the screws, they came loose every time and my dog ends up pushing the rod back and forth. The idea is a good one, but do yourself a favour and buy some better screws with some self locking nuts. Other than that it is ok.
UPDATE: the device broke, I can't recommend it at all. It was always a hassle to use. Buy if your dog is a Chihuahua.

This was easy to attach to the bike, and my dog has taken to it very quickly, it does not cause any problems when cycling, very easy to use, reccomend it highly.
poor workmanship
I bought this a couple of months ago and it has been great but it is not hard wearing. The bit attached to the bike lost a screw and I had to use a hair pin to attach it to the rod. Then the thread went on the rod causing it to come loose. Very poor workmanship. if they could rectify these problems it would be great
