to the person who has the 11 week old puppy who reviewed thank you very much, it gave me something to think about. i have been looking at all the reviews for frontline, and to the person below me who commented, it is clear that the person did not give the huge dose, she is writing it on all frontline doses to make people aware that it could cause problems, and i am very grateful to people who take the time to try and prevent it happening again. it has given me something to think about and i WILL be speaking to my vet before giving my 10 week old puppy frontline. my other dog who is now 20 months old has never had a problem with frontline, i just don't understand how they expect me to give the same dose to my cavalier puppy who is just over 2kg, as my fully grown 9kg dog.
Good stuff
I've used this stuff for 5 years on my Rottweilers, and before that on my cat (RIP George!) and they've never had fleas or ticks under this treatment.
If you go to Frontlines site they also do a free email reminder service that will email you when the next treatment should be applied.
Frontline is a wee bit expensive but in my opinion it's better than the other stuff I've tried. You get what you pay for I suppose.
Unlike the silly woman who used this on her little puppy, you *must not* use the 40-60kg treatment on puppies, I know that's blatant common sense but it seems some people out there were at the back of the queue when brains were handed out.
