A fun little toy for dogs
This is a fun toy for my dog. It took her seconds to work out how to get the treats so it is not a test of a dog's intellegence. My dog is old and has limited mobility now so she can't get stimulation from walks like she did when she was young. I give her this toy in the evening to give her the light snack she needs. She ejoys playing with it and it occupies time that would have been spent sniffing out hedge rows in her younger days evening walk. It is quite a tough toy. My dog is a Staffie and will do her best to use force where ingenuity fails, so far her attempts to bite it open have failed and she has been content to push it about. I thought that the mechanism would be so simple that she would get fed up of it quickly but by changing the treats so she does not know what she will get her greed gets the better of her and in the hope of cheese she keeps trying, so its value has lasted longer than I expected it would. It is also easy to clean if none sticky treats are used...
Fun is over too quick!!
I bought this recently for my 2 Labradors to play with 1 loves it the other isnt interested. The 1 who loves it quickly mastered it and had gotten all of the treats out within a couple of mins, so is a short game. In saying that he loves playing it over and over again so if you dont mind taking the time to fill it every few mins then is fine.
