Neither ofour dogs are at all keen on this. Previously the Staff pup would eat anything in his bowl within seconds and then try to eat the Jack Russel's dinner too. With this food a bowl lasts all day.
In a way this is good because it stops him being such a glutton and it means the sack of food could last a lot longer than expected, but I feel a bit bad giving them something they don't enjoy at all.
The dogs seem healthy and happy enough but since starting on this the Staff does seem to always have the runs and the Jack's flatulence has gone to another level.
A shame, because the packaging is very good, with a very strong resealable bag, and all the science in the description sounds very impressive.
It may be great for some dogs, but not all. Your dog may well love it and thrive on it. I have learnt my lesson though - get smaller bags to see if something works before ending up with 15 kilos of unpopular food.
Gone in a flash...literally!
We have a problem eater Great Danes pup, due to his being almost starved by his previous owners. We rescued him and he was only 20 kilos instead of the 40 he should have been at that age. We were reluctant to try anything but a proper "puppy product" - one sniff and he launched himself in with a vengeance and has now put on the right kilos (plus a little extra.)
Content was excellent, from a human point of view so was the smell - dog food always has a particular smell but this did not. Very good value for money. All round good dog food.

Amazon provided this food just at the right time for me, having recently fostering two seven month old Yorkies. I'd been feeding them a stores own brand dry food, which to be fair, they ate without issue. The difference was when the Eukanuba was served they cleared their bowls within minutes so I guess it must taste good to them.
I would recommend following the feeding guidelines re the quantity given (the recommended portions do seem a little small)as this food seems to be precisely balanced and I would imagine over feeding would put too much weight on to the puppy.
So, a little pricey on first impression, but lasts and lasts, and is a high spec top quality dog food.
