Keep you dogs brain busy
Good brain trainer for most dogs but i have a GSD who is a chewer and tried to chomp her way through it and I don't think the plastic its made off is tough enough stuff to leave it with her. Not a toy for hard mouthed chewers.
It's Noisy but Does the Job... but...
My dog trainer recommended this product because my Chihuahua mix started to trash my place while I was at work out of boredom. I have, at that point, tried everything to keep him stimulated and tire him out by exercise him A LOT, but all those attempts pretty much failed!
This pyramid is made of hard plastic and has weight on the bottom so it keeps rolling around while dropping kibbles here and there, and my dog was certainly entertained for about 10 minutes to get his morning feed. Great! However;
1. it makes hell of a noise while rolled around. My the other dog was scared to death!
2. because of the bottom weight it can gets stuck in a narrow gap like under furniture).
3. it broke after about 2 months of daily use. (My chi has very strong jaws.)
4. it's impossible to get it cleaned. I have once put a large piece of dried fish in there and it never came out.
I would buy this again if it was priced for less! but knowing may have to buy...
Dog Pyramid
I bought the dog pyramid about a week ago and my main problem is the hole is too small to get treats out of. My dogs soon get bored when the treats wont come out very often and finding small treats that they like is difficult.
Cleaning is another issue, you cant put any softer treats inside.
Overall I wouldn't buy this item again however when my youngest plays with it without treats she thoroughly enjoys battering it around the kitchen.
