Loud silent whistle
For a silent whistle this is very loud. I rang the manufacturers who told me that if you couldn't hear it, how would you know it worked. I expected a slight sound but not one that would annoy everyone. Good for calling the dog but comes unscrewed all by itself and I returned mine for a refund. If you pay for something, whatever the price, you expect it to do as it says on the pack. This doesn't!
Rubbish
RUBBISH!!! DON'T TOUCH IT. NOT I REPEAT NOT SILENT. Very loud and annoying, the end kept unscrewing and getting lost. Just buy a normal whistle from a toy shop for pence!!!!
Easy to lose
I received the silent whistle this Monday and when i used it in the house I got the dogs attention immediately so thought I was on to a good thing. I then took them for a walk on Wednesday, accompanied by the whistle which I had put on a string round my neck for convenience. I went to blow the whistle and only half of it was there - the rest had unscrewed and fallen off. I retraced my tracks and fortunately managed to find the other half, screwed it back on and continued the walk. I blew the whistle once, about 15 seconds later and the dogs came running. I then walked on and about 5 minutes later wanted to use the whistle again but the bottom half had again unscrewed itself and fallen off - sadly I was not able to find it again. It appears to be good for calling dogs but given the very bad fault of it being able to unscrew itself, I am unable to tell if it was good or not!!
