The retailer also pointed out that further down the product page is mention of the fact that this thrower works with large tennis balls, not small ones. It's a little tough to spot, however, but this is likely due to Amazon's layout.

Great product but .....
Ball that comes with it is a tennis ball type not the brilliant squeezy rubber chuckit balls so had to purchase separately at extra cost :-( hence only 4 stars
