I've an 8 wk old staffie pup who adored chewing on us. She never bothered with furniture as I used bitter apple b4 she had chance. My Labrador is now 8 months and is just starting a second phase of chewing - luckily not quite as destructive as when her teeth initially came through. She will however randomly chew on anything that just happens to be in her eyeline, favourites include kitchen cupboard doors, telephone and electric cables and when getting ready for a walk, her dog lead.
