A great thrower. Reasonably light and springy, can throw the ball good distances. Tennis ball that comes with it lasts about 5 minutes!!! You must buy proper balls to go with it.
Dog ball thrower
My original ball thrower was pinched and could only find it at Amazon, amazon is fantastic they have such acomprehensive selection of sellers and stock its like Aladdins cave well done amazon. Product as described and what my 6 jack russells required to wear them out.
A fun toy but mine didn't last very long
For anyone who has a dog that loves to chase balls then this is a great toy. It helps you to throw a ball so much further than you ever could manage by hand - which means your dog gets to chase the ball much further and gets tired out faster.
The other great and possibly not thought of benefit is if you have a dog that tends to make the balls rather slimy then you don't have to pick them up by hand to throw them - wet slimy balls are really horrible to pick up!
The ball that came with this didn't last very long; after just three walks it was starting to come apart at the rubber seam and on the fourth walk it completely split open. You do need to buy much better quality balls to use with this thrower for the long term.
I don't know whether I had a faulty thrower or whether the plastic got brittle because the weather was cold but after less than a month's use the head part which holds the ball snapped off which meant that I could no longer use it...
