The tent looks good and certainly made people smile, but when we had rain and wind on our camping trip, the inside got
very wet through the vents at the top of the tent. My husband ended up putting another waterproof sheet over the top.!
No More Sunburnt Lurcher!
This is in fact the second one I've bought - the combined efforts of some tiny Yorkie pups and my own laziness (moving the errected tent in and out of a shed that it only just fits into) eventually wrecked the first one.
Now what sort of nutter would buy a tent for a dog? I have an albino Lurcher who loves the sun, but get's sunburnt. He loves sitting in the garden but we have to constantly move him about to stop him harming himself.
When we first bought this, the dog seemed to know that it was for him and why from day 1.
He want's out in the garden whenever there is a suggestion that there might be some sun, and of course actually needs the shelter on the 3 days of summer we get each year.
The only thing we had to add to this was a padded mat for him to lie on.
Good quality and easy to put up and down (yes I know) I wish we'd have googled "dog tent" years before we did.
