Brillant guard dog,bought it so the Boxers cannot get in the front,infact i made it fit the RENAULT SCENIC.So easey to fit in fact just over 5 minutes,great little job.no trouble looking through the rear mirror to see cars behind.
Does the job
I bought one for our Golf (same brand but a bespoke Golf one) and this one for my Mums Polo. This is a great dog guard - don't waste your money on the 'adjustable' ones which, I have found - don't stay in place, and can easily be knocked out of place and just fall over.
The only reason I marked this guard down is because you cannot have the parcel shelf in the car the same time as the guard (this may be different for later models as it looks different in the picture). It was easy to fit, but for my Mum not possible to fit just when she needs it - this means (80 year old) she has to store her parcel shelf and can't conceal valuables in her boot if she is travelling without the dog. Just a small point - but one to bear in mind.

Second VW dog guard I have bought. This is for my Mums Polo. Not quite as good as our Golf one because you can't keep the parcel shelf in place when the guard is up. My Mum is in her 80s so she can't readily fumble about and take the guard down to re-install the parcel shelf. I know all guards and Polo styles are different so this might not be the case for all makes and models.
