I bought two of these coats for my dogs. When they arrived I was pleased to see how well made they were. It was a cold day - but not raining - and I decided to give these coats a try out. I have a white Jack Russell and a white spaniel. The dogs took to these coats straight away - and off we went - with no problems at all. When we returned from the walk I took the coats off .... and found that I now had two pink dogs. The lining of these coats is a red tartan - this is not "colur fast" - and the colour had leeched out of this lining and onto the dog's fur. I have had to hand wash both these coats and the water was still bright red after three washes. I suppose - if you have a black or brown dog - you probably wouldn't notice (until the dog brushed it's fur against anything white that you have in the house... because whatever that happened to be - would also turn pink). It's a shame because - apart from this - the coats are pretty good. This is a good product - badly let down by the...

bought this for our little westie pup and he looks very smart in it,its well made and easy to put on.kept him dry in a shower and everybody said he looked a picture in it. very pleased with purchase and good quick delivery even over xmas rush.
Does the job
This coat is very nice looking unfortunately my cross breed has strange measurements so it is not a great fit if you are like me then you will probably prefer something abit more adjustable such as Velcro fastenings, if your dog fits into normal size categories though this will probably be fine for you.
