Easy to use
I was recommended to use this by my Vet for my little Border Terrier 4 week old pups. I was advised to put a drop on my finger and did this, and they licked it off. I like that this worm paste caters for lungworms as well as the other main types of worms. (some wormers are just for round or tape and a lot of messing about with powders/having to crush tablets etc.). I have given it 4 star as I have no idea how effective it is, but as the vet recommended it, I expect it will be fine. I am now going to get some more and try it on my two cats, who get all their claws out if I attempt to get them to take tablets but one cat will take powders mixed in with foods sometimes, but the other cat would rather starve than eat his food if it has any crushed worm tablets or powders in it! I have now tried it on my adult dog, who also is very fussy with worm tablets/powders, and to my surprise she licked it with great enjoyment and without me having to persuade her to take it. Our six month old kitten was outraged when we gave him the second of three scheduled doses. Two of us forced it down him but he still managed to spit much of it out all over the kitchen floor. A clean up task as well as failure to administer the dose. Decided not to attempt the third dose.
Will try another product that does not cause these difficulties.
