Brought these as a tester for my two dogs, they are not really too picky with treats so I usually have luck when buying them something new. Upon opening them I had a sniff (as you do) and they smell very smokey :( tried my dogs on them and one turned a rude looking nose up to these & the other played with a piece on the floor for a min then walked off (charming). I decided to cut a piece down to smaller sizes (has worked in the past) my boy ate it then but my girl still has no interest. These gave my boy soft stools NOT pleased! I ended up giving these to a fellow local who has a heinz 57 rescue dog, her dog loves them (but she cannot give more than 2/3 a day as her dog also gets soft stools) shame as I was tempted by some others from this brand but after trying these I will pass. I did not like the smell, my dogs don't seem to either, they seem very cheaply made for what the actual cost is so feel they are very over...
