I bought this boot for my old dog (14) to prevent her from licking a cyst on her foot.The size is not great for her ,she is a collie cross and the boot is a little big but works well to prevent her from reaching the wound. They are made a little like strong rubber gloves there is no lining so i am not sure where the cotton is supposed to be. I solved the problem of her nails puncturing the rubber by putting a childs sock on first. They are easy to put on and take off, the velcro works well and as the boots goes up the leg they are not easy for her to get off.I must stress however, that my dog is not very active in doors and even though the sole does look stronger i haven't risked it outside where she does become more active.
There is only one boot supplied and i didn't realise this at the time, there is no size guide not even on the packaging so a medium may have fitted her better, i also have a labrador and it seems to fit her size of paws better. All in all for my purposes it...
Not so strong.
I ordered this product for my injured Springer puppy and have to say that while impressed with the speed of delivery I was not impressed with the quality.The rubber on the sole is too thin for prolonged use and the velcro strip became unglued after the second day!Very disappointed,not worth the money.
