Having read the previous comments, I wasn't expecting much from this item, but our springer spaniel loves all fluffy toys so I decided to get it.
First of all, this toy is not "ideal for small dogs and puppies" as stated in the product description; it's too big for my spaniel which isn't even a small dog.
I don't have a problem with the fact that the squeaker is barely working or that the photo isn't a realistic one. My biggest problem is that this toy sheds hair! I still haven't given it to the dog because I'm afraid that she might swallow the loose hair when she plays with it. You only need to hold the toy's hair with the tip of your fingers and they come apart. I can wash and brush the toy until it loses its hair and then hope my dog will still play with it but it's definitely not worth it.
