Good fit, limited control
I bought the extra large for my slightly overweight labrador and it was a good fit. He appears very comfortable in it. Easy to fasten round the dog, and to the seat belt. Having tried it in the back seat, with a 3 point seatbelt, it would have kept him in the back of the car (for me, the point) but he had a lot of leeway when it came to where he would sit - the ability to loll over onto the person sitting next to him, for instance. I wouldn't try it in the front, because it wouldn't restrain him enough for me to drive, which is why I have only given it 4 stars rather than 5. I like the ability to use the harness with a lead, meaning you don't have to take the harness off if the dog gets out of the car, and he can be put back in just as easily. I've kept the harness for those times when he has to travel in alternative transport to normal - he'll stay behind the dog guard in my car!
A good value product.
A nice comfy fit for our German Shepherd dog. Keeps him safe in the car. Not too difficult to put on a lively lad.
Not compatible with car buckle
Whilst the harness itself is lovely, the actual end bit does not fit in the car buckle. I am joining the ranks of a previous customer who owns a mini. My car is a Peugeot 307. So I have had to purchase a different lead which is compatible. Very disappointed and costing more than I would have liked to spend.
