Great idea in theory
My children saved up their pocket money to buy these for their pet rats, but we just could not get them to stay on, as soon as they were on the rats walked or wriggled straight back out of them, and that was on the smallest it would go.

Unless your hamster has eaten too many pies, this harness is too big. The velcro straps are too thick and even when it is on, the hamster just walks off leaving it behind on the floor. Probably good for rats.
