We have a little jack russell who is one year old now and over the year we have gone through more stuffed toys then I care to imagine! some would last a day others only minutes before they were destroyed ending up with the white stuffing scattered all over the place, not only was this dangerous incase she ate any but it was also annoying and expensive, of course though we wanted her to have things to play with other than balls or plastic toys and she does seem to love the soft toys best so I looked around for something soft but indistructable!! and came across this which sounded appealing due to it having no stuffing, I read other reviews and it seemed to be good so I ordered it and I have to honestly say she has NOT managed to destroy it in any way sofar and we have had it for nearly three month's already (she does rag it around like crazy and we play tug of war with it) so it has deffinately been a good buy plus you can get a variety of theese in different animals, shapes and sizes...
No stuffing, no worrying!
I decided to try this toy out after previously purchasing a couple of stuffed versions which my dogs decided to rip open within days of having them. So as you can guess they are dogs that are not particularly gentle with their toys! This one however i have now had for a couple of months and it's still going strong dispite two dogs trying to play tug-of-war with it! Although i never leave my dogs unattended with soft toys, accidents do happen and it is a relief to know that if they do tear it open there is no stuffing they can eat and do themselves a damage with. I've also seen this product elsewhere at a higher price so i also thought it was good value. I would buy one again.
Not Safe!!!!!!!
Please....if you have a dog that likes to "strip" fur off toys don't buy this. The fur on the mallards back is extremely easy to pull off. I found this out as soon as I took the toy out of the packaging. A dog can choke or get a blockage in the stomach if left to eat!
