Cons:
1. I am undecided if the charcoal filters are worth it. I change them every two months, but this fountain was designed by a vet so I'll yield to her experience in this matter. They hardly cost the earth.
2. It's a real pain to clean, as it needs to be disassembled and cleaned, but you can buy brushes to assist here & they do help. It takes me around 45 minutes to clean thoroughly. However I admit to being a little negligent & not cleaning it as often...
