Great idea with a major design flaw....
Got one of these for my black lab, who is impossible to see at night! Now the plus points, as the led's go right around the collar it was great for spotting him....now the negatives, as it's led's this makes the collar very stiff, I wouldn't have trusted it as his only collar, as it would've been too loose on his neck, therefore we just put it on for going out at night. Now the big downfall...it lasted about 3 weeks, the wires to the battery compartment go into the fastening, I thought the batteries needed changing, but when I did it still only worked intermittently (i.e. when it was flat out, which is no use), therefore presume some breakage in the wires caused by putting it on, BIG DESIGN FLAW! Luckily I've spoken to PetsInTime who I purchased it from, and they are willing to refund me. I've since heard of leuchtie collars (google the uk site), which I may try once my pups stopped growing, they're not cheap though!
