Brilliant for night time walking!
My black dog was proving impossible to see in the field on her night time walks, and this product has been invaluable. It has little flashing red LEDs, and the battery seems to last well; we must have used it for about 10 hrs in total so far.
The only downside is that the LEDs only go around about half the collar on my big dog, and sometimes the collar twists around so you can't really see them, however, this doesn't happen all that often.
All in all, a great product which is so useful. Couldn't be without it now.
I can see them
Collars are excellent. Not only do they flash but the flourescent collar shows up very well when caught by torchlight. Battery life good and seems to withstand my two Staffi's play fighting. Bought as replacement for the lights that attach to collar as whilst dogs rushing through the undergrowth chasing a 'sniff', these used to quite often fall off.
No more lost did in a dark park
I had tried lot of those lights that hangs from dogs collars and they are all absolute rubbish. They break with two walks or just fall off. So I got both my dogs a flashing collar. These are secondary collars, so they still have to wear their normal collars but it doesn't seem to bother them (even the small one). I can see where they are in the dark from quite some distance. The only negative is that the lights are on one side of the collar - e.g. There is an area that is unlit because the battery and clip is there - so if they are moving away from me and the lights are on their chest I can't see them. It's not a major issue and you get the same with any lights. Overall I'm very pleased with this collar and would highly recommend it.
