This is the best collar I've found in a rather stressful attempt to prevent my cat from licking a wound on her rump following surgery. She wears the Buster Collar in total comfort, attached to a narrow elastic cat collar round her neck. The vet first loaned me a Lune Collerette which is of the same design as the Buster but with the disadvantage of smelling strongly of PVC. This worried me because the more my cat licked the Lune Collerette, the stronger it seemed to smell. The Buster Collar has no such chemical odour, thank goodness. Also, my cat managed to get her teeth into the Lune Collerette and deflated it! As I didn't want to risk the same thing happening with the Buster, I removed the inflatable lining and stuffed the cavity with bubble wrap instead, which adds nothing to the weight. Another drawback with both these collars of almost identical design is that, though the small size fits perfectly around my cat's neck, the collar is not quite wide enough to keep her from reaching...

Ordered this collar for my Jack Russell who continually chews her back feet.
It is practical and comfy and allows her to do everything as normal, giving her sores time to heal.

this collar is so much better than the big lamp shade type that damage furniture and your legs. i got the small size and it fits my small tibetan terrier, it would fit a lasso apso size! I was worried that it would be damaged by my other Tibetan playing roughly but it is fine and strong. the wearer of the buster inflatable collar can get upstairs, jump on the sofa, drink and eat and even managed to chew her bone. she snores with it on, but she snores anyway, and she might not get to lie flat over night. she can`t reach her rear end which is were the problem is. i haven`t blown mine up really solid, that would make it a bit harder, i`m very pleased, its going to get a lot of use as my TT is super sensitive and tends to lick herself sore!
