Very pleased with the product - strong and hardwearing. I wanted one with a zip so that I can use my dog's safety harness. I particularly like the fact that it can be unsipped on one side to allow a passenger to sit with the dog if necessary.
One word of caution - make sure the orange logo is on the back of the driver's seat, facing toward the rear seat, not as illustrated on the box it comes in,i.e. on the back of the rear seat where the dog is, or the zips will be in the wrong place!
Keeps dogs safe and car clean
Have had the RAC car seat cover in my Skoda Fabia estate for about 3 years and it has worked brilliantly. It has kept my dogs from jumping over to the front seats and has saved them from falling into the footwell when braking suddenly. Still looks good and has slighty soft surface which helps to stop the dogs slipping. We are getting rid of the car and the rear seats still look great as they were protected by this cover. All fixings still holding well except for a couple of the gromits for the bungee hooks coming off but it still works fine. Have not had any problems with the zip. Is great that the headrests are covered as well. Good product, would buy again if I had to replace it which I don't as I am just going to swap it into my next car.
Good but not brilliant
On the positive side it is a very well made seat cover - nice stiff canvas and it does what it says on the tin and protects my seats from muddy paws and scratchy claws.
On the downside, it's a bit tricky to fit and it doesn't *quite* cover the seat as well as I would like (Lexus CT200h). I'd like a bit of extra cover and it's very snug. I also found that I needed to wrap the elastic hook round the seat twice or the headrest cover keeps moving about. My previous seat cover was from Aldi and had nice plastic clips that were easier and more effective, although it wasn't as good quality and certainly not as smart looking. As someone else mentioned - ignore the picture on the box - the RAC logo goes behind the drivers seat facing backwards or the seat belt zipper won't work.
