Bought this to find out I could not use it on my Bichon. does not say that on advert and only realised it on reading package. Could not be bothered sending it back but it should be made clear that is product cannot be used on certain dogs.

In 12 years of having a long haired German Shepard this is the best tool we've ever seen. Doesn't just brush but strips the dead hair from the under coat.

I have long haired cats, which are variably keen on brushing/combing/grooming. The one with the thickest fur of course doesn't like it, but this product (rather terrifying when you open it - I nearly didn't when I saw the teeth through the plastic packaging) is amazing. The curve of the teeth means you can't hurt the cat or scratch him unless you are really unlucky and not careful, especially over the hips, and oh my goodness, does it pull the hair out. I would most definitely recommend you groom outside, as it does remove an awful lot of hair, which does get air-borne. A good time of the year to do this as the birds will use the hair for nests! Highly recommended!!!
