Not a good choice for dog treats
A friend of mine bought a bag of these in good faith and wrapped them up as a Christmas present for my dog.

I love my dog immensely and whilst being careful to ensure she doesn't put on weight, of course I want to spoil her and give her treats. I use treats for training, whilst we are out as a reward for good recall and when I am feeling just plain old soft and wanting to spoil her.

However, these 'chocolate' treats baffle me as they don't even vaguely resemble anything that is part of a dog's natural diet. I would rather give my dog something that at least mimics what they would eat in nature, e.g. tripe strips, pieces of beef jerky. I'm not perfect and I admit that I do give her some of the treat biscuits on the market on occasions but never 'chocolate' drops.

Chocolate is poisonous to a dog and yes, these clearly state that they are safe 'chocolate' for dogs, but I don't want to get her used to the smell or taste of anything chocolatey when I know...
