Bought these a few weeks ago as our dog was going through tennis balls like nobodies business, thought we'd take a gamble on something a little more expensive, and the gamble seems to have paid off.
The balls are made of an apparently strong rubber, the bright orange colouring makes them somewhat easier to notice when the balls go missing.
Our dog likes to sit and chew them while he waits for the next throw, and so far seems to have done little damage (one ball is ever so slightly mis-shapen due to his excess chewing, but works fine all the same).
One added perk of these balls is that they bounce like crazy, so your dogs will be leaping into the air to retrieve them as much as they will be chasing them, bouncing in all kinds of directions.
The medium sized version sits fine in our flingers.
So far, so good.

Myself and the dogs highly recommend Ultra Balls, I haven't had to buy tennis/sponge balls in three years.
These balls are as close to an indestructable dog toy as you will ever get.
In eight years of owning a Collie/Staffordshire cross I am yet to find a ball as durable as these. We play daily with a pair and they are still going strong, also withstanding the puppy chewings of my other dog.
They are regularly stolen by bigger dogs in my local park (Malamutes, GSDs, Rottweilers etc) but always come back in one piece.
As the description says, these balls float and bounce really high - great for dogs who like to swim or jump. They are also nice and weighty so work extremely well in ball throwers. I also like the bright colour as it is easy to spot in the grass or under bushes.
An all round fantastic product that no dog owner should be without!

Arrived this week & 2 out of 3 dogs love them. Good bounce, very visible on beach & washes clean easily.
Sand doesn't stick as much so their fur & my pockets are cleaner & don't smell of dead fish or whatever delights they have dropped the ball in. Got to be a bonus!
Using it with Kong chucker which adjusts to size & is OK.
3rd dog prefers her smelly,bald tennis ball, can't win them all!
