I wanted a red, padded lead, to match my dog's collar and for my comfort as he's strong and pulls a lot. This lead is great! The handle is cushiony and very comfortable, allowing me a good grip. I wasn't sure about getting a 40" lead - thought it might be too long (he's quite a big dog), but actually, it's perfect. I can use both hands to hold the lead and feel in control, even when doggie makes his sudden lunges to sniff things. The 1" width means that the lead itself is also quite comfortable to hold. I've given this product a 4, not a 5, purely because I was hoping the lead itself would be a bit more padded or substantial. It's a relatively thin material but I wouldn't let this put you off. Overall, I'm really happy. It's a good price. And, delivery was very speedy.
