Usually I buy Tryplase capsules for my cat but these were unavailable at the time. Pancreatic enzyme is the same thing but loose in a tub. After calculating a dose equivalent to a Tryplase capsule, and administering it daily, it has proven to be equally as effective and it is, pro rata, cheaper. I will definitely buy this powder again.

i ordered this for my dog as she suffers from a poor digestive problem and she needs this powder to help her and without she cant cant digest food so she will keep eating as her body would be telling her she is not full and the vet we go to charges a fortune for a smaller tub of this stuff but after finding it on here i will be ordering more when she runs out.

Probably works but cat won't eat it.
The enzyme probably would work OK if only our cat would eat it. The smell is so over poweringly awful that there is nothing I can add it to that would persuade our cat to eat it. The powder is very fine and rises into the air and is easily breathed in, even the smallest amount can be tasted for hours. Presumably the cat feels much the same. It is also very expensive. There are other products like Panacure that achieve the same result without the problems of administering it.

Other cats may not be as reluctant as our Singapuras, then this product would be both effective and reasonable value as one quarter teaspoon spread over each week is all that is needed.
