Very pleased with this dummy but used it to train my puppy who at first thought it a great game and chucked it all over the place. Unfortunately the brass o ring cut through the canvas and cork flew out. I solved it by emptying some more cork to release the strain at the top of the dummy and then double stapled it all along the top. All ok and puppy now trained just to fetch and bring it back without the bosterous play in between.May be not good idea to start training with it, wait till puppys got the general idea. Cant wait till spring when we are going to do some water training with it.

Good dummie with many advantages although hasn't lasted as long as I would have liked without spilling some of the innards.
Had this make of dummy recommended to me at gun dog training class's and have to say that it is a good training aid for young dogs as it is light enough but large enough to make them open their mouth that bit more than normal 1lb dummies. Also with the smaller seame and no toggle a younger dog is not as likely to get incorrect hold. Only problem is it hasn't lasted very long before it has ripped / been bitten through at the seame and is now spilling cork fillings after only a few outings although I am sure if I can get this sown up it will still make a good training aid for young dog. It enables a descent launch from hand due to the weight and string in place of the toggle. All in all a good dummy but have had to mark down to 3 stars as after Only a couple of outings the seam where the string feeds through has broken away.
