I have a short hair cat who loves being groomed - she can't get enough of this brush. T'other, that's a different story! She's long hair, the brush works well, but she hates being groomed, but it works.

Only works on long hair
Cat loves it and it works well, but I actually bought it for my short haired Staffy/Collie cross, who's moulting terribly. Her hair get's EVERYWHERE, so I was desperate for a brush that would get rid of the moulting hair. I was so pleased when it arrived, but alas, it removed hardly anything, only a small amount of fuzzy under-hair - which is not the problem. It didn't remove one single proper hair, so when I'd brushed her, I stroked and petted her only to find hair, as usual stuck all over my hand! AAAGGHHHH!!!!!!!! So be warned this brush is not for short, wirey haired dogs. Gutted! As I said, the cat likes it!!
