This is such a great idea - it's attractive to look at and much more convenient to carry and use than a separate bowl and bottle. I had a little difficulty emptying it completely when I first got it - you need to shake it around quite a lot as there is no defined lip to pour the liquid out. Fine if it's just water in there but slightly more effort if you're trying to rinse it out in a hurry after washing with soap and want to make sure you get every last drop out (it also had retained a lot of water when I got it out of my dishwasher). My original review mentioned that I had some leakage problems but I think it's just that the lid on mine needs to be screwed on pretty tight. The seller had seen my review and immediately contacted me and offered a replacement item. I was impressed with the seller's customer service and with more use this item has definitely grown on me. So, all-in-all, both product and seller get 5 stars.
this product did the job
We use this for taking water out in the car, as our guy is large we have found this amount of water to be just right for him on our longer walks, or for a drink when we return to the car on shorter walks. The seal is water tight and we have had no leaks !!! maybe a lot of water to carry for a smaller dog, maybe they could look at making a smaller one !!!

After trying (and throwing away) various other portable bowls over the years I gave up looking for something that I could just fill up, carry around and use where and when I wanted. I saw this and thought I'd give it a try, I'm glad I did. Looks better in real life than I thought it would. Easy to fill, holds loads of water (well as much as is claimed), screw down the lid, chuck it in my bag or car and and off we go. My pooch can be funny about what he drinks out of, he struggled with the bottle and tray thing but no problems with this. Another good thing is you can just put it down and leave it, just like a regular bowl.
I read the review above where it can be difficult to empty, I just turn it upside down, shake it around a little and wipe out what's left with a paper towel. I then just leave it to air dry..
It's so simple a design I'm surprised no-one's thought of it before (including me), it just works, it's a thumbs up from me and 5 stars...
