Sturdy and tough but a pain to clean
I bought this for my pup when she was around four months old. As with all of the Kong products it is extremely well made, tough and durable.
It is the perfect size for a young pup or dog to carry around in their mouths - not too large or too heavy.
The idea behind it is that both ends have an opening into which you can stuff things like peanut butter, kong stuffing paste etc and the dog can spend time to lick the filling out of the toy. I used peanut butter and yes it did keep my pup entertained trying to get the stuffing out for quite a long time.
The only down side to this is that the openings where the stuffing goes is ridged. I found that the peanut butter got stuck deep inside the ridges. Because the opening was fairly small my pup could get the stuffing from the middle but no matter how hard she tried she couldn't get it out of the ridges. This left me with a fairly messy job to clean it out as I had to run my finger up and down every single...
