Poorly engineered
The vice is sturdy and the screw works fine. The inner jaw could use threaded holes since a wooden attachment cannot be easily mounted on the vice after it is installed and measurements are hard to make on the heavy unstable vice before it is installed on the workbench. The jaws have a decent finish and a slight angle but it does not cause much of a problem. The vice that arrived at my home may have been faulty. When attempting to clamp a work piece in the vice, the quick release mechanism would not allow more than 1/8 turns before losing grip, basically it would not clamp anything in place. It may have been that the screw was mounted backwards on the vice. Therefore, I have returned the item.

Bought this vice 6 months ago. Initially impressed with its sturdy construction. After fitting to workbench found that jaws were not completely parallel and pinched slightly on one side of any workpiece placed in the vice. Could live with this - however, after 6 months the quick release failed (as described by Alejandro above). It is now impossible to clamp anything firmly in the vice.

This is an visual review only. The front dog does not retract fully into the front jaw, and protrudes about 5mm up at its lowest position. The toeing in towards the top of jaws looks like about 5 degrees - certainly noticeable. The jaws have 2 holes mounted on a horizontal plane for the ply/whatever facings you would add to them (I would have preferred 4 but it's a minor issue). The paint on the user-facing parts is solid with no chips. The quick release handle action feels good. There are no mountings included with this item, you will need 4 M10 bolts and a few washers, the two mounting holes nearer the rear jaw are enclosed and the other two are open parallel to the screw to allow for fine adjustment. There are no mounting points at the far end of the screw.
