Arrived within 24 hours. My Bernese absolutely loves this Eukanuba kibble. I've tried him on various high end dog foods, particularly those designed for maximum joint care. But the Eukanuba is the only one where he stays by his bowl when he's finished and looks at me in the hope of a second helping. My other dogs look on with green with envy. The kibble also digests well as I have never had any incident of stomach upset with it....something I can't say about some of the other joint care kibbles we've tried.
My dog won't eat it but my neigbour's does
I was excited about the benefit claims of this dog food but hit the main barrier - my dog won't eat it. He has been fussy about food before and we ended up with Forthglade (wet) and Bakers Small Dog (dry) after trial and error. So my ideal solution is to have sample packs to first be able to see if the dog will eat, rather than leap in with a big pack.
The container is good - decent durability and with a ziplock.
I am now going to offer to my neighbour for their aging mutt and will feed back that outcome.
UPDATE: while my little cross-breed terrier still will not eat it, our neighbour's collie breed loves it. It will be a while before any benefits would be obvious but at least we have found a fan. NB my dog may not have a problem with the taste - I have a theory that the size of the chunks could be the problem for little jaws.
