Does the job
These are a good product and hold the moisture well. Not much else to say really except that they work, as long as the dog actually goes on the pad, which in the early days does not always happen, but that is hardly the fault of the mat. The dog will rip them up a bit, but again, I am not sure that is the fault of the pad, despite what some people seem to say in their reviews. I am ordering some more.
Doesn't absorb well and wee runs off before it can be soaked up
I have to say i was less than impressed with this product. Having bought other goods manufactured by Beaphar i thought these might also be a great buy and however when we first used them, and the first sign of wee, 50% of it ran off the side before the other 50% was soaked in. We did check that the pad was flat too, and securely stuck down to the floor, and we couldnt fault that....i even asked my perfectionist wife to do it and same result.
Even the wee that soaked in ran out of the side when we picked it up to throw it away, so im not really sure what the point is in them.
We also noticed that the top layer seemed to split and tear when our puppy wee'd on it, kind of like a tissue when a dripping tap is on if that makes sense?
We ended up using 2 pads on top of each other so really we only got 15 for the money, and in fact we tried one other before we tried a Mikki one that is boxed in 100s and never looked back.
