Pet Bowl Slows Down Hungry Rottweiler
I typed the problem (Dog eats too fast) into Google and up came this bowl. I ordered the jumbo size and I'm glad that I did as with the shape of the bowl, it only has the same amount of space as a conventional smaller bowl.
I'm very pleased with the results. My Rottweiler, Raven, has slowed down his eating habits and takes much longer to finish his dinner. His previous habit was to wolf down the food giving the imperssion that he simply inhaled and it was gone. This has reduced the risk of bloat and he has started to chew his food and enjoy it much more. He has even started to chew his treats so I think the bowl is training him to enjoy his food more.
The bowl is a bit cumbersome but is very solid and is easy to clean, being that shiny plastic that nothing seems to stick to. This is a minor detail when it is such a success in making my Rottie slow down. At less than a tenner, I recommend this bowl to anyone wanting to curb their dogs speedy eating habits.

I brought this to stop my Dalmatian bolting down her food in a matter of seconds and then going and looking to raid our Cocker-Spaniel's dogs bowl for more food. Now she takes longer to finish her meal and by the time she has finished and goes to raid our other dogs bowl, all food has been consumed. We don't have to stand between the two dogs while they eat anymore.

It does what all the reviews I read said it would do and has slowed her eating speeds right down. It does however, slide along the floor as shes eating, but this is due to her trying to get at her food.
