A really good buy.
I have two springer spaniels who had been having a lot of tummy troubles. One possible reason may have been that they both bolted their food down in seconds. My vet recommended these bowls and I ordered them. They certainly slow them down,they really can't guzzle their food any more. They are now much better, a combination of finding a food that suits their delicate tummies,but I beleive the bowls have played their part. They claim to be non-slip - they're not, but they don't tip up and it's no problem them sliding about a bit. I would HIGHLY recommend these bowls, if you have a dog that "inhales" it's food, buy one of these bowls. You'll be amazed at how good they are.

This has really stopped my sheltie from bolting her food down, and she seems to enjoy eating each portion
more making it last longer,and looking for more corners to lick, plus no longer is the dish moving up and down with the rubber coating at the bottom.

Received my slow feeder bowl a few days ago and am very pleased with it. I have a six month old border collie who gulps his food in seconds and i've always been afraid of him choking. The bowl literally stops him eating quickly as he has to pick the food from four small compartments in the bowl. As well as slowing him down he finds it a real challenge to get the last few pieces out of the bowl and by then his tail is wagging like mad. He really seems to enjoy the challenge. Would definetely recommend to anyone with a dog like mine. Be aware though i bought the medium size and will probably have to go up a size in a few months, but at such an inexpensive price i'm not complaining.
