Good product - ideal for my needs
Buying 15kg bags of dry dog food means I either have to put up with a huge ugly bag in my kitchen, or put it in a cupboard and drag it out 3 times a day to fill the dog bowl. I was looking for a storage bag or tub and saw this item.
As it was likely to be left out in the kitchen it needed to be secure (to ensure my dog didn't get into it) but also not look out of place. The item arrived folded up and looked too small to contain 25kg of food, but when I opened it up and poured a 15kg bag into it, it could certainly hold a lot more (though whether 25kg of the food I use would fit in has not been checked).
The bag is durable on the outside with a lining on the inside making it strong and will stand up without any food in it, though can be easily squeezed down to the level of the food inside it. It stands about 18 inches high and 18inches diameter - it actually fits into my cupboard and is easily accessible to not have to take it out every time I need it. If you do need to leave...

One of the main reasons that I choose this Trixie food bag over the vast majority of other options is its flexibility. When I started looking for a dog food storage container I kept on coming across fixed sized, huge plastic tubs and when I measured them I wouldn't have been able to put them away in any of my cupboards. I wanted something that wasn't going to be so rigid and that would fit in a smaller space. This Trixe food bag is made from a nylon material and even though it is structured and does retain its shape well, it does have a bit of give about it so can easily be pushed around to share its space without damaging it.
In my opinion, the one main and only flaw of this food bag is that it suggests that it is capable of holding 25 kg, but I would say that it just isn't. It might comfortably hold 20 kg but I doubt that it would ever comfortably fit 25 kg in it. I believe that the vast majority of dog's food bags come in the largest size of 15 kg, or at least the...
Tidy storage
I bought two in trepidation- would they fit in the pantry? look okay? would the food fit in or would we still have sacks with bits in to store? etc. No worries- I would definitely buy again! They each fit a large sack of dry dog food in no problem, (we have puppy food and adult food to store) but appear to take up less space than sacks, zip up neatly to enclose the contents, and collapse down as the food is removed to take up less room and to show how much is left! We store one on top of the other, quite heavy when full but they have a very useful handle to help in moving around. No hesitation in recommending these - am looking for similar smaller ones now to transport dog food on Summer holidays!
